The year is 2011. Sean is fresh out of High School and finds himself touring the country playing in the Vans Warped Tour as guitarist + backup singer for the metalcore band Attack Attack! Midway through the hot and dusty summer, he felt compelled to try out a new hobby. He cracked open a “build your own pedal” kit, borrowed a soldering iron from the kitchen table in front of the tour bus. An hour or so later, he had built what would be his first of many, many effects pedals.

Fast forward to 2020. Nearly 10 years had passed since Sean first had at the pedal craft. He sat, lonely and unfulfilled with his towering hill of knowledge and experience. He had shared none of it. Friends and family joked, shouting things like “you’re a fraud!” and “you’ll never be the greatest pedal builder of a generation!”

And Sean took that personally.

It was time change the narrative. The call to share his gift with the world became overwhelming, so he enlisted the help of his wildly talented (and handsome) designer friend, Luke Shomo. Sean knew that Luke’s visual ability and experience working with musicians would provide the added sauce needed to disrupt the very fabric of the pedal industry as they knew it.

With their powers combined, Tallon Electric was formed. Named in honor of Sean’s entrepreneurial grandfather, the boys set out to do the impossible: collaborate with bands and artists to become the greatest custom effects guitar company the world has ever seen.
