Tallon Electric
Dual Drive
Dual Drive
Two overdrives at the same time.
The LEFT SIDE borrows roots from the classic "breaker" style circuit, but branches out with some sweet new features like the unique transparency toggle and a high-headroom output stage.
The RIGHT SIDE is a high powered, hard clipping K-style drive that's reigned in with a carefully tuned two-band EQ.
Use the ORDER TOGGLE to flip-flop the two circuits and unlock the full potential of a dual overdrive unit.

I'm totally stoked at how versatile the Dual Drive pedal is!!
First off, I was introduced to Tallon Electric through their interview on The Guitar Knobs Podcast. I instantly clicked with Sean on his simplistic approach towards gear and also felt annoyed about constantly switching pedals on my board. Also, I'm not really into buying new pedals anyway, however, something about that BB style circuit intrigued me. So, I made my purchase and haven't regretted a single moment.
The Dual Drive has been on my board ever since I purchased it in early September. It's been paired with a variety of guitars (including bass), all with different setups, and I've been able to find plenty of useable rad tones every single time. Finally, a circuit that speaks to me and my playing!
Aesthetically, I really dig how tall the pedal stands (while keeping a smallish footprint) making it easier to stomp on while it hangs out near the back of my board. Also, the color of the LED lights caught my attention, both of which mimicks the color of the opposing side. Nice touch.
In ending, I intentionally waited until post honeymoon phase to better formulate my review, and I can honestly say that this pedal isn't going anywhere anytime soon!
Stay rad Tallon Electric! 🤙🏼
This thing is incredibly versatile. The Klon circuit is just stellar! I love the shelving EQs. Crank the bass and dial back the treble and you have yourself a fat, lightly crispy bass guitar tone. Fattens my P-Bass low end and accentuates the highs with a light crunch. The Blues Breaker circuit is madness. Dial the gain back and she still rips, sweetly. This is a no-brainer for every guitarist, and as a bassist, my new secret weapon.
It's incredible. I have been wanting this pedal for months, and it is nothing short of fantastic. It sounds soo good!
