What would you do if you had a million dollars? I'll tell you what I would do.
Two overdrives at the same time.

The LEFT SIDE borrows roots from the classic "breaker" style circuit, and promptly branches out with some sweet new features. A unique transparency toggle gives you extended control over chord clarity and picking dynamics, while a high-headroom output stage gives you enough clean gain to push your amp's input over the proverbial edge.

The RIGHT SIDE is a high powered, hard clipping machine based on a very expensive pedal that dons a man-horse hybrid with a pension for archery. Unlike it's role model, this side of the Dual Drive feeds a carefully tuned two-band EQ section that's primed and ready to achieve optimal tonal balance in all scenarios.

Use the ORDER TOGGLE to flip-flop the two circuits to your liking. Make no mistake - Many, many righteous tones await your discovery when you toggle the order.

Left Side Controls:

DRIVE - Dial it up for more overdrive.
TONE - Removes excess treble.
LEVEL - Controls the output volume of the left side overdrive.
TOGGLE - Choose between two unique transparency modes.

Right Side Controls:

HIGH - Applies a shelf boost or cut to treble frequencies.
LOW - Applies a shelf boost or cut to bass frequencies.
LEVEL - Controls the output volume of the right side overdrive.
GAIN - Turning up the gain simultaneously removes clean signal and introduces a hard clipped overdrive.

Technical Specs:

  • Soft Click Buffered Bypass
  • 9v DC, 2.1mm center negative power. Does not accept batteries.
  • Power Consumption: 28mA
  • Enclosure Size: 4.7" x 3.75" x 1.75"

This pedal accepts 9VDC CENTER NEGATIVE power supplies ONLY.

Using the wrong power supply (i.e. higher than 9v, AC instead of DC, reverse polarity) will result in damage to the pedal.

So fun.

The Dual Drive is great! My base tone is always a clean, chimey Vox/Matchless sound and the BB side with the transparency switch down feels like a natural second gain stage to my amp--retains much of the character but with some dirt. Flipping the transparency switch up immediately takes the drive tone I've dialed in and tightens it up, like a higher gain twin to the drive sound I already had. Really great feature!

I like to run the right/Klon side into the BB with Klon's gain about halfway to add some more gain and that Klon mid character. Many inspiring tones on tap!

Hello, thanks for checking in about feedback. I love blues, breaker style petals and felt the gain side was more fizzy than a soft symmetrical clipping style like the prop twin blue side. And lacked pick dynamics even in the uncompressed side and had over all “fizzy” tone if that makes sense..

Best of both worlds!

Whilst the Dual-Drive is based on 2 familiar circuits - the Bluesbreaker & Klon, to me it's very much it's own thing and maintains the 'Tallon' character I came to love from 'The Hog'.
The left 'BB' side does the BB thing but gains up to the heavens! With the transparency switch in the up position, this thing rips you a new hole! In the down position which gives more note articulation, I find this similar to The Hog in blended mode as it allows more clean through the circuit.
The right 'K' side does the great boost thing that is very addictive on clean tones to give that extra girth and sparkle but sounds fantastic pushing an already driven amp.
Push them into each other and change sides and you have some a ton of variety!
Definitely recommend.
