Refund policy
Order Cancellations
Customers may cancel an order by contacting Tallon Electric through the contact form on this website within 48 hours of order placement, provided the order has not shipped. An order is considered shipped once it has been transferred to the carrier and is in the carrier’s possession. Full or partial cancellations are permitted within this 48-hour window at no penalty if the order has not shipped. Orders canceled after 48 hours but prior to shipment are subject to a 5% payment processing fee. Orders cannot be canceled once shipped and must follow the Returns process.
Returns
Returns are initiated by contacting Tallon Electric through the contact form on this website. Pedals in brand-new condition may be returned within 7 days of confirmed delivery. Brand-new condition means unused, no Velcro applied, no signs of wear or modification, and original packaging included. Used pedals are not eligible for return, even if fully functional. All apparel items are final sale and not eligible for return.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping fees are non-refundable. A 12% restocking fee will be deducted from the order total, including taxes and shipping, to recover payment processing and handling costs. Restocking fees do not apply to defective products or items damaged during shipping. Refunds are issued only to the original form of payment and are processed within 5 business days after inspection; banks may require additional time for funds to appear.
Shipping damage claims must be initiated by contacting Tallon Electric as soon as the customer has physical possession of the package. Prompt reporting improves the likelihood of a successful courier claim. When possible, customers should document visible packaging damage with photos before opening the package. Additional documentation may be required by the courier service. Qualifying claims receive a prepaid return shipping label, and affected items are repaired or replaced at no cost, at the discretion of Tallon Electric.
Repairs
Repair requests must be initiated by contacting Tallon Electric through the contact form on this website. If a Tallon Electric product fails through no fault of the user within 365 days of delivery, it qualifies for a covered repair. Covered repairs are performed free of charge. Customers are responsible for shipping the unit to Tallon Electric; return shipping is covered by Tallon Electric. This coverage constitutes a limited warranty and does not affect statutory consumer rights.
Failures resulting from misuse, physical damage beyond normal wear and tear, liquid exposure, or use of an improper power supply (including incorrect voltage, polarity, or current) are not covered. Non-covered repairs require customer approval before work begins. Units are inspected within 5 business days of receipt, after which a repair quote is provided. Approved repairs include labor, parts, and return shipping. If a repair is declined, the unit may be returned unrepaired at the customer’s expense.
Tallon Electric reserves the right to refuse service in cases of suspected abuse or fraud. Policies are subject to change without notice. Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, Tallon Electric is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
